During an interview with ComicBook.com, Reeves shared that he accidentally “cut a gentleman’s head open” in a mishap. He apologized for his language but admitted that the incident was distressing. Additionally, another person on set was hospitalized after being hit by a car. Thankfully, the individual was okay after the accident.
Despite these occurrences, Reeves emphasized the importance of taking care while filming and highlighted the supportive environment on set. He said, “All of this to say: that you do have to take care. But it’s great that everyone [on set] is watching out for each other.” He went on to reassure fans that “no humans were harmed in the filming of this motion picture.”
Reeves also spoke with Collider about the intricacies of filming a fight scene in a nightclub, surrounded by a party. He praised the dedication of the background actors who had to remain immersed in their roles, despite the action unfolding around them. According to Reeves, it took practice, run-throughs, and everyone getting used to the action to make the scene feel authentic.
