March 19, 2023 – For California and Virginia Residents: Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
If you are a resident of California or Virginia, you have the right to request that we do not sell or share your personal information. Please read the following information carefully before making your request.
Under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), we do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. However, we may transfer your information to a third party that provides us with services, such as advertising, data analysis, and security. This transfer may be considered a “sale” under the CPRA as it may fall under the definition of “other valuable consideration.”
“Sharing” your personal information refers to making it available to a third party for the purpose of displaying targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising to you. Cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising involves displaying an advertisement to you based on personal information about you that we have obtained or inferred over time from your activities across other companies’ websites, applications, or online services. This information is used to predict your preferences or interests. Targeted advertising does not include using your interactions with us or information you provide to us to select advertisements to show you.
To request that we stop “selling” or “sharing” your personal information, please contact us. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
Please note that opting out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information does not mean that you will stop seeing all advertisements.
